Day 1: Ashgabat
You will be met by our representatives at the Ashgabat International Airport. You will have a city tour today in the capital of Turkmenistan. Ashgabat got its name by merging two beautiful Persian words "love" and "city". This beautiful and amazing Central Asian city impresses with its current modernity looking at it and not presupposing that once upon a time there was an ancient city. The modern capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, was built on the site of the old fortress in 1881, and from 1919 to 1927 the city was called Poltoratsk in Russian. In course of the tour you will visit following objects: Lenin’s square, Park of Independence (looking like a white-marble “Eiffel Tower” standing in a beautiful park), Arch of Neutrality. Further you will explore Museum of Ethnography and Museum of Fine Arts. Night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Kow-Ata
Your spot of the day is amazing Kow-Ata underground lake. The lake is located 107 km from Ashgabat. KOU-ATA means "father of caves" in Turkmen. This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes on earth it’s amazing healing properties are known all over the world. The territory of the lake is very large and comparable to the auditorium. The total length of the cave is 230 m, the height reaches 20 m, and the width in some places reaches 57 m. It’s warm and flowing water is clear and emerald-colored. The water temperature in the lake is constant 33-37°C (you must swim in the lake). This medicinal water contains about 38 useful chemical elements.
Day 3: Kow-Ata – Nokhur
Today you are going to transfer to Nokhur. The beautiful Paradise region is located in the West of the Kopetdag range. This area is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The district is inhabited by the Turkmen Nokhur tribe, which has a unique culture and traditions passed down from generation to generation. Nokhur has a unique architecture of houses. two-story houses of original architecture, laid out on the slopes of mountain stone among dense vineyards and picturesque almond and pomegranate trees, are of harsh beauty. The people who inhabited the territory are different from the Turkmens.
Day 4: Nokhur – Darwaza
You will start your adventure in the morning with transferring to Darwaza gas crater. Darvaza, aka "gate to hell", aka "door to hell" - it is the most interesting attraction in Turkmenistan. The crater is located in the Zaunguz Karakum desert right in the middle and has a diameter of 60 meters, and the depth of the crater is 20 meters. This attraction has been attracting tourists for many years. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful place of nature during the day and at night. Night you will spend in a tent.
Day 5: Darwaza – Ashgabat – Merv – Mary
This day you will transfer to Ashgabat. After that you will direct to the east of Turkmenistan to explore wonderful fortress Abiverd and discover to Ancient Merv. It is one of the most important cities of North Khorasan, the medieval Abiverd. In his geographical works, Hafiz-I-abru-a writer of the XV century mentions that the settlement of Abiverd consisted of several dozen villages, villages and a number of cities. In the center of the settlement there was a magnificent portal-domed mosque, of which only the ruins of a portal made of burnt bricks remained. You will also explore fascinating sight Seyit Jamal-ad-Din Mosque. The medieval mosque was built in the 15th century and consists of 17 rooms. Merv the city of the enlightened middle ages and thousands of years of antiquity. Merv is included in the "Golden" Fund of peaceful culture, as another page in the history of human civilization, showing the ability of a person to develop culture in different parts of the world. On arrival you will have an interesting guided tour: Gyz Gala, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Soltan Sanjar Mausoleum, Ibn Zeid Mausoleum. After that you will transfer to Mary. Night will be spent in the hotel.
Day 6: Mary – Ashgabat – Nissa – Horse farm – Ashgabat
After breakfast you are going to transfer to the airport to catch a morning flight to Ashgabat. After that you will discover Nissa fortress – the ruins of the ancient fortress of Nissan are located 18 km from Ashgabat. It was the capital of the ancient Parthian state, which existed at the turn of I thousand BC-1 thousand AD. After you will drive to Gokdepe region, there you will go to horse farm. You will observe amazing gem of Turkmenistan– Akhal-Teke horses. This horse is one of the most charming horses in the planet. Short show will be shown by riders. In the end of your tour you will transfer to Ashgabat for overnight.
Day 7: Flight
In the morning is transfer to airport.
