You will be taken back to the time of nomadic life, their traditions, culture and food, while visiting the world's 2nd largest mountain lake - Issyk-Kul, as well as the charming Son Kul Lake, situated on a high plateau in the centre of Kyrgyzstan (3013 meters a. s. l.).

 
Tour summary:

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake

Meeting is in the International Airport of Manas. You will be met and accompanied by your guide to Bishkek (the capital city of Kyrgyz Republic). Transfer from the Airport to Bishkek city takes 30 minutes. On arrival you will start the day in Bishkek with a breakfast. After that is transfer (200 km) from the Kyrgyz capital to the celestial Lake of Issyk Kul that is the 2nd world's largest mountain lake (1608 m. above sea level). The nickname for Issik - Kul is "The Pearl of Central Asia". On the way to Issik - Kul, we will stop to visit the Tower of Burana -minaret that dated 11th century A. D. and Balbans (stone warriors) open air museum. We continue our way to the lake after having lunch. You will have a rest on the northern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake as soon as we are in the hotel. Owing to the salty water, Issyk Kul possesses curative properties. Dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening. 

Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol
We start the day with breakfast that is served at 8 o'clock. Till 12 p.m. you have spare time for swimming in the lake. After that, we will be transferred (200 km) by car to Karakol town. We will make a short break on the way in order to visit ancient (dating back to 800 B.C.) carvings on the stones, as well as the local museum that uncovers the history of the Issik - Kul region. During the trip, at 12 o'clock you will have 2nd stop, during which you could enjoy your lunch in the relaxed ambiance. During another break, before continuing our way to Karakol along the sparkling pearl of Central Asia northern shore, which's beauty you will be able to enjoy in full, you go on one hour cruise on the steam boat. At 8 o'clock in the evening dinner will be served. The night will be spent in the Guesthouse.

Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
At 8 o'clock in the morning is your breakfast. This morning is destined for Karakol guided city tour that includes the visiting of the old wooden Orthodox Church, which will be followed by the visit of the Dungan mosque that it was built without using a single metal nail in Chinese style. Later, you will visit the museum of one of the world's greatest explores - M. N. Przewalski, whose biggest successes were the discovery of more than 4000 species of animals, including the horse of Przewalski and the crossing of Taklamakan great desert. With traditional lunch we will end the city tour and at 1 p.m. we leave Karakol town. Our way (30km) leads us to the gorge of 7 red rocks - the impressive Jeti Oguz. There you will see picturesque Mountain that is called "Broken Heart" and the Sanatorium, where you could get a massage or take hydro shower. After that we could explore the Valley of Jeti Oguz (Yuri Gagarin's vacation house, yurts - nomadic collapsible dwellings, alpine vegetation of the Valley) or the Valley of Chong Kyzyl Suu with its geophysics station built in 1948 and hot water springs. Afterwards we will be transferred to the Village of Tamga, which was a place where in the 13th century the Tibetan monks lived. In the Tamga Guesthouse dinner is served. Sauna is optionally.

Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaevo - Kochkorka (120km)
At 9 o'clock in the morning breakfast is served. Till 12 o'clock you have spare time for having rest on the Issyk Kul Lake southern beach or to explore Tamga Village. Next we commence our trip by car to Kochkor Village. In Bokonbaevo Village we will have a break to have a lunch that is served in the local eagle-hunter's house. With the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting) he hunts for hares and foxes. The hunting show with eagles could be arranged. After that, we will go on our way via Orto - Tokoi water reservoir to Kochkor Village. You will meet a family in Kochkor that shows you how the Kyrgyz national felt carpets are produced. During felt show you even can create your own carpet together with them. Traditional dinner will be accompanied with a special national music show. This overnight is in the Guesthouse of Kochkor.

Day 5: Kochkor Village - Son Kul Lake
Breakfast. After that we will be transferred to the 2nd biggest lake in Kyrgyz Republic - Son Kul. The Kyrgyz nomads with their families started to come to this wonderful area for rest and relaxation since ancient times. Naryn region herders come to the lake to use it as summer pastureland. Son Kul Lake is surrounded with the mountains; it is situated at an altitude of 3013 m. above sea level and is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. On the way, lunch will be taken. You will be free to walk around and enjoy lake's virgin nature and its surrounds, after our arrival. Dinner and overnight stay are in the collapsible nomadic abodes - yurts. Yurts are built without nails. They are made out of wooden skeleton that is covered with thin felt mats.

Day 6: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)
Your breakfast will be served at 9 o'clock in the evening. This day you have a spare time at Son-Kul Lake and you will have an opportunity to explore its nature on your own. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. Along the lake you can ride on a horse or just relax in the atmosphere of wild and calm natural world. At 2 p.m. lunch is served. Today you will also visit the site of shamans' ritual stones and ancient petroglyphs. In original nomadic houses - yurts, dinner will be served. In yurts, as nomads, you will spend the night.

Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek City
At 8 o'clock in the morning your breakfast will be served. Today we return back to Bishkek. In Bishkek, as soon as we arrive, you will have guided city tour. You will visit many places of interest, such as: Oriental Osh Bazaar, National Concert Hall, the Central Square of Ala-Too, Oak Park (Duboviy Park), Victory Square (Pobeda Square), the Museum of the Kyrgyz History and Art Gallery. Lunch is included. You will receive a separate program, listing all places to be visited, including their brief description. A departure dinner is served at 7 p.m. The night will be spent in the hotel****. 

Day 8: Bishkek City - Europe
At the pick up time prearranged according to the details of your flight, your guide will meet you in the hotel and accompany you to Manas Airport.
